ExpressLRS ELRS Micro TX 2.4GHz 1W transmission module from BETAFPV with OLED display, 5D joystick and additional Backpack function, designed for rc model transmitters equipped with a micro module slot
The BETAFPV Micro RF TX module is based on ExpressLRS, an open-source RC (Remote Control) link for the remote operation of rc models. ExpressLRS aims to achieve the best possible performance in terms of transmission rate, latency, and range. This makes ExpressLRS one of the best available RC links, offering the highest speed and data transmission distance in the market! A transmission rate of up to 1000Hz and tens of kilometers range are possible with this module!
The black version with a maximum transmission power of 1W is now available. It fully supports the 5D joystick, OLED display and comes with the new Backpack function that other modules do not have!
For the Backpack functionality, there is a second wireless communication chip, ESP8285, inside the module, which allows the rc transmitter to communicate wirelessly with other devices using the ESPNow protocol. This enables communication between the ExpressLRS module and other FPV devices for command and control or adjusting settings.

Note: Ensure that your VRX (Video Receiver) supports the Backpack feature before using the module's Backpack functionality."
This particular module can be configured through the rc transmitter menu using an OpenTX/EdgeTX LUA script if it supports OpenTX/EdgeTX software. However, because it features an OLED display and a 5D joystick, it can also be used with rc transmitters that support the CRSF protocol but do not support OpenTX/EdgeTX.
The following rc transmitters that do not use OpenTX/EdgeTX work well with this module: Futaba T16IZ, T16SZ, and T18SZ (with firmware updated to version 3.9e), Wsky ET16, Radiolink AT9S Pro.
Compared to the 500mW version, in addition to the cooling fan, it now also includes an aluminum heat sink, further enhancing the cooling performance.
This module features DIP switches on the back for selecting various functions:
