Subsidy for Electric Vehicle Purchase: "Kinoume Ilektrika 3"

The subsidy program for the purchase of electric motorcycles, scooters and bicycles, "Move Electrically 3" - "Kinoume Ilektrika 3" is active since May 1, 2024

Who is eligible for the subsidy:

• All individuals and private citizens are eligible for a subsidy to purchase electric motorcycles, scooters, and bicycles.
• All businesses and legal entities, of any type except public entities, are eligible for a subsidy for an unlimited number of electric scooters per VAT number.
• Courier, delivery, and tourism companies are eligible for a subsidy for up to 10 electric bicycles.

Subsidy percentage for electric motorcycles, scooters and bicycles (e-bikes):

• 30% for electric motorcycles and scooters, with a maximum of 1300€ per vehicle. Additionally, the program subsidizes the purchase of a second battery with 300€ per vehicle, provided it is part of the vehicle's standard equipment.
• 40% for electric bicycles, with a maximum of 800€ per vehicle

Subsidy for smart home charging points:

• 500€ for individuals and 400€ for businesses and legal entities to purchase a smart home charging station. If the purchase price (excluding VAT) is lower than 500€ (or 400€, respectively), the subsidy equals the pre-VAT purchase price.

Additional subsidies for specific groups:

In addition to the 30% subsidy for electric motorcycles - scooters and 40% for electric bicycles:

• Large families receive an additional subsidy of 500€
• Persons with disabilities (PWD) receive an additional subsidy of 500€
• Second battery purchase with an electric motorcycle or scooter is subsidized with 300€

• Scrapping another electric vehicle grants an additional subsidy of 400€ (applies only to the purchase of electric scooters)

Application Instructions:

1. When you purchase an electric vehicle, you will receive an official receipt or invoice from Electrons.gr, along with all the required documents, such as a declaration certifying that the vehicle meets subsidy specifications.
2. Enter your details on the program's website at https://kinoumeilektrika3.gov.gr and upload all the necessary documents provided by our company.
3. Once your application is approved, the subsidy amount you are entitled to will be deposited into your account.
